• Recognising common stress and trauma responses
• Look, Listen, Link framework — theory and demonstration
• Active listening and empathetic communication skills
• Approaching someone in distress: what to say and what to avoid
Afternoon Session:
• Suicide risk: recognising warning signs and safety planning basics
• PFA for special populations: children, elderly, first responders
• Self-care and vicarious trauma prevention for helpers
• Role-play scenarios in pairs with facilitator feedback
• Resource mapping: connecting individuals to local mental health services
